At Archangels Antiques you will find a great selection of unusual and unique salvaged architectural art elements for use in the home, garden or office. We specialize in architectural artifacts, ornamental garden pieces, both outdoor and indoor lighting, hardware, custom furnishings, wood, iron, artwork, stained glass windows and doors, and other oddities. We deal exclusively with vintage items, no reproductions. Any of our pieces can be incorporated into the eclectic design of both old and new creating dimension, texture and drama!
Most of our architectural antiques and garden antiques come from the Midwest and Eastern United States. None of our pieces are imported or are reproduction facsimiles. Each piece is generally one-of-a-kind and unique. Great vintage architectural antiques are very difficult to find in the current market, which is why overseas countries are trying to reproduce many of the pieces that once stood proud on old estates across our nation, many years ago. The items that we sell have these things in common. They are objects of art, well designed, well constructed and can stand alone as a design focal point in your home or business. Also, our architectural antiques can be built into an interior or exterior setting. Good architectural antiques are getting harder and harder to find and we believe that when you buy a quality piece, it will never lose its value.
Our garden antiques are all vintage and are perfect in your secret garden, Victorian heirloom flower garden or your bird sanctuary or yard. You can let your imagination go when integrating these unique and well designed pieces into your decorating! A sundial, fountain, urn or any of our other garden antiques will enhance the overall appearance of your home and garden. Whenever possible, we keep pieces in their original surface and paint knowing that it takes years and years to develop the aged patinas which these pieces exhibit. Fewer and fewer garden antiques exist which is why they never lose their popularity. Look in any design magazine and you will find antique garden and architectural pieces placed in the finest homes and cottages.
Antique architectural and garden antiques can be both appreciated by the art aficionado and fun to collect and own. The workmanship and construction of these old pieces by master artisans years ago is far superior to the construction of today. It is so much fun to have these pieces in your home as they are reminiscent of perhaps simpler times and an era when quality and craftsmanship was an important ideal. Enjoy!
